The Reception...A Quick
Look
This is only a preview of things to come. We have highlighted the major happenings at the reception for your enjoiyment. Check back when Steve and Carol get back from their honeymoon for more pictures of the reception and their trip to Italy. Please be patient as this page does contain a few pictures.
Once the wedding ceremony had come to an end, everyone convened at the site of the reception, The Green Dolphin Street, for Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. |

The D.J. played some played some soft music as everyone eagerly anticipated the arrival of the new bride and groom, including Jim and Kim. |
Once the newly married couple arrived, you could feel the excitement build as everyone awaited their chance to offer a handshake, or a hug - with words of congratulations. |

After everyone had settled in and taken their seats, the lunch buffet was served, but not before an elegant prayer was given by Carol's cousin. |
Then it was the best man's turn to "warm things up." Martyn gave an extremely articulate, thoughtful and heartfelt speech about Steve and and his new bride. He wound things down in true English fashion, by reading some of the cards sent by Steve's comrades from the UK. |

When Martyn was through, the mic was then handed to Steve to say a few words. Steve expressed his happiness eloquently and had many kind things to say about his new wife, her family, and his own. Everyone knew how much it meant to Steve that his mother was able to be a part of this day. |
After dinner it was time for dessert. It was a was a "delicious three-layer work of art enjoyed by all." |

What can we say about this picture, they cut the cake, a "delicious three-layer work of art enjoyed by all." Then the reception turned into a real party at the urging of both Steve and Carol. |
