Arlington Park - Race Analysis

Race 8: 2-HUMOROUS MISS has been in great form all meet. Won two of her three races and lost the other by a rapidly diminishing half length. There should be plenty of pace to set up for her late run. Guessing she’ll come flying in the stretch. 3-BONANZA JELLYBEAN looks like the best of the speed. Makes her local debut but she’s been in great form in Kentucky. Could be on the lead from start to finish. 5-SEAN’S BABY was an easy odds-on winner in last at Ellis. Races for red hot connections. Is scheduled to get Craig Perret in the irons. She’s another who should love the projected heated pace. 8-BAXTER HALL showed little in her two turf stakes but she’s generally competitive versus allowance company. Makes her first start in 10 weeks but she did run well the only two times she started fresh. 11-ANEGADA’s speed figures have been rising with every race. She has been competitive in every turf start. Might be able to surprise. 10-CODE OF ETHICS should never be far off the pace. Last, a stakes race at Ellis, wasn’t bad but she tried to come from out of it in that spot. She seems far more comfortable when tracking or setting the pace.

Joe Kristufek's Value Plays For Saturday, August 28

8th race -- #10 Code of Ethics -- Took a huge step forward in a July 1 turf win at Arlington. Her run in the Audubon Oaks at Ellis was quite adventurous, and she still wound up fourth despite being pushed out eight-wide at the quarter pole. Expecting her to show better tactical speed today.

Let's play #10 Code of Ethics to win, double the place and triple the show bet at odds of 6-1 or better.
